Masters in Communication Sciencies and Disorders, with distinction from the University of Houston
Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus, on Child Development and Education from the University of Houston
Haneen has 10 years of combined clinical experience in outpatient and multispecialty clinics, acute care and rehabilitation within hospitals, preschool language development programs, and specialized schools for children with language and learning differences.
She has diagnosed and treated disorders in: receptive/expressive language, social-pragmatic communication, articulation, phonological processing, fluency, neurocognitive disorders, augmentative-alternative communication systems, accent modification, aphasia, dysphagia, and dysarthria.
Haneen enjoys working with children, adolescents, and geriatric patients; however, her most recent experiences have been treating the pediatric population within private practice settings.
Haneen is devoted to continuing education and evidence-based practice. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and enjoys working with families of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Her therapeutic intervention approach is family-centered, functional, and targeted to produce the highest outcomes for each individual. Haneen has served in community outreach programs, provided speech, language, and hearing screenings for private schools and multi-service centers, and volunteers with Dar-us-Sakina, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the Muslim community of Houston.
Born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Haneen is honored to serve her community and practice in her hometown. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, fitness, and exploring Houston’s vibrant food scene with her husband and two children.
